    Hi all,

I'm looking for a few owners who have restored/rebuilt VF750Fs for a feature in Practical Sportsbikes in the UK. We're looking for hints/tips/advice/techniques - anything that might encourage or help our readers tackle a resto of their own. It would involve a chat by email (or phone if you're in the UK) and you providing a photo of yourself with your bike to go with your words of wisdom.

If you'd be up for helping out, you can contact me at gingersgaff@btinternet.com or on 07875736021 (UK mobile).

Thanks in advance for any help.

    All the best,

    Gez Kane, Practical Sportsbikes

    Hi Billy,

I'm not sure what you mean. I'd like to make contact with a few guys who have restored these bikes - that's why I've asked on this forum.

Try Google "custom Honda vfrs" in images. This may take some winnowing down but it's a source.

Give it some time and I'm sure a few members will belly up to the bar with some nice examples.

Always a mystery to me why these restoration projects seem mostly to favour outmoded VF bikes, far inferior to the improved line of VFRs. A good VFR$ has to be worth almost twice a VF imo. You gotta ride both to know. :love-struck: What, you don't believe in evolution or improvement or that improvement is NOT better ??
