So, I bought a 86 vfr700 and went to prime the carbs and the fuel rails leaked. Tried to let them soak to hopefully swell but to no avail. Anyone in the Pittsburgh area with the know how of this replacement process would be greatly appreciated. Time is not on my side unfortunately and never did something like this before. I'd like to get running sooner than later so your time is my money. Thanks.

If you think you can get them out, squirrelman and Billy Carr would both rebuild them for cash. Otherwise hopefully someone in the area can help. Most shops charge an arm and a leg to do these carbs when they are really not that bad with patience and a decent rebuild kit.

Sounds like a good thing to me... I'll pull em hopefully this week and I'll let u know when I have them out. Should I get the orings myself? Was actually thinking about going with those aluminum rails I seen on eBay.. how much ya want for the repair also?

PM'ed you. I can replace your fuel tubes with aluminum, but at significant extra cost.
