Well, there is yet another guy riding one now!
Look for him to sign up here soon, Ham is his name. I let him ride the wife's Candy Red 6th gen 07 the other day and he went out the next day and bought a very, very cherry Silver 08 with only 3K miles on it that he found that same night on Craig's list in south Florida. How lucky is that? He is almost as old as me too!

Almost 63 yrs old and still riding almost everyday. Have had mostly BMWs and now a Ducati Multistrada ST. Last Christmas, I found a one owner 98 VFR with 15k miles for sale. Not a scratch on it. Could not believe how cool and affordable that bike was, so I bought it. My BMW/Ducati riding buds from up north come down to visit me in FL during the winter and I put them on the VFR. Every last one of them says "Damn! That's a nice bike"

Yep, my Y2K VFR is one the the finest bikes I have ever owned and I didn't pay and arm and a leg for it.

I'm 55 yrs old and can hardly wait to get my 83 interceptor on the road . My other bike is a 2013 Suzuki M109 and it's pretty fast as far as i can tell. As you can see , I'm not ready to slow down yet !

Nearing 49 and have just (well 20 months) got a new VFR800 in 2013. It was a dream bike (the sound, V4 - need i say more) that took a 14 year holiday after an accident.

I'm 58 & 1/2. Riding a 1999 VFR800 to which I just added a Sargent saddle. New mirrors arrived yesterday (gotta get rid of the condom variety). This year marks the 40th anniversary of getting my bike license. Have had the VFR for 6 years or so (memory must be failing). I still have the wife. She is not fond of motorbikes, but is tolerant of the beast. She has me take her for a short ride every year or so; just long enough to convince her that she still doesn't like that sense of vulnerability when riding in city traffic. Oh yeah, I also keep the life insurance premiums paid up....

I'm 52, the only problem i have is some discomfort in the hands (my Heli-bars should fix that) and i wish the footpegs were an inch lower. I feel my purchase of my 2002 was a little mid life crisis, i decided that i'm not ready to die yet. Any wife worth her salt would encourage you to have a VFR! and bug you to let her ride along. Who wouldn't want to live forever with a woman like that? Job security girls!

    I'm 51 and on my 2nd '96 VFR, after a '98 superhawk, my first '96 VFR, a 650 HawkGT, an '86 500 Interceptor, a '84 500 interceptor and '78 400 hawk. Somewhere in there I had a Kawasaki 750 GPZ briefly.
The VFR I own now is the best of all of them. I lucked out and found one all tricked out with RC51 front end Ohlins front and back, trick little bits from RC51... nicely done. Barely over 20K miles when I got it. Boxes and boxes of spare parts.
Been riding dirt bikes and street bikes since age 15. I believe I'll be riding till I cant get my leg over the saddle I reckon :chaingun:
