vtec clocks plastic

    ok problem with vtec 02, my plastic over my tach is cracking? it seem like its `bowing` out, as when you predd the plastic the cracks, which look like scratches, disappear, is this a well known thing?....clocks and dials etc have not been worked on or anything, also the 2 side gauges are also showing signs of this...

    I don't t think that's a common issue. Most bikes I've seen have the plastics and good shape.

    I would say it is due to long term exposure to UV, hard to imagine in the UK!

    UV will find a way, sun or no sun! My wife got sunburned through her t-shirt on a very cloudy day while we were on a boat. We thought she would be fine with her t-shirt on and no sun, but low and behold back at the hotel when she took her shirt off, sunburned! :crazy:
