I just replaced the grips on my 95 VFR with 7/8 grips which is the same size as the old grips. But now when I accelerate and let go of the accelerator it gets stuck and keeps revving the engine. What could be the problem? Could it be that I didn't use grip glue?

A new grip can put too much pressure against its left side, against the switches, and bind up; or on right side against bar-end. Must be repositioned or trimmed with a blade as necessary.
