VFR400 NC30 factory paint

Hi all,

Considering my first VFR400 (NC30). There are so many about and I guess due to age and crashes, there are a million different paint jobs. I'd like to ask someone who knows, what were the official factory paint options?

Hey TD,I have owned many nc30 s with all different paint jobs,but the original I believe is red white and blue with gold trim,you can find the actual color codes on the RC30owners club,the RC30 being the big brother to the nc30.You will find plenty of photos on this site.

 

where do you find them? I've been wanting one for years and have yet locate one for sale

and do a search for VFR 400 you'll see several on there. I'm curious as to how I could bring one back to the States. England isn't too terribly far from where I'm at in Germany. I've seen some really sharp 400's on there, with many different color schemes.

 

Wow..old thread. Oh well I'll help out anyways...who knows somebody might still look.

The original paint/graphics came in certain types (ranging 1-8) from 89-93. Not all colours were available all the years. If you search google images for vfr400 type 1,2,3 etc. you will see all the original colours they came in.

Mine is type 7. I want type 8 fairings though. Saw some for sale on ebay uk a few weeks ago (full fairings in great condition) but I was broke at the time...damn.
