vibrations in seat at high revs

Hi guys new problem I need some input from people with more saddle time than me on the vfr 2005. I am getting a tickling feeling on my but to seat contact if I crank it up to max of 12000 rpms. Bad vibrations, or good if you like that kinda thing. thanks for reading slickster

 

What would need to be known is if the vibration frequencies decrease between upshifts.

Several members have told of a Vibranator that they say might work well.

Perhaps an application of one of the proprietary products containing procaine would be an inexpensive though temporary solution.

 

Just yesterday riding with my girlfriend on the back she asked me if I could keep the revs up. No lie.

Is this something new that you hadn't experienced before? Do you feel it standing still only only when in motion (have you tested this standing still)?

 

I don't have any answers for you but you do need to determine if this is RPM related or speed related. Then go from there.

 

I think these (don't know for sure) relieve the problems in the wrists seeing as they replace the bar end dampeners.

 

This dilemma must be approached scientifically unless the OP has an uncle who is a proctologist. Also at 12K RPM in sixth, there is a visual aspect to be reckoned with. Passing a cop at that rate would induce some amount of pucker.

I hear the models that fit Harleys come with some compensating resistors built in.

 

Its a one way resistor for the "standard HD models" the chopper models have another type of resistor built in :loco: something aboot an exit really not being an exit, wtf am I talking aboot anyway?

 

kick ur minds outta the gutter LMAO. I've had my girlfriend giggle each time I rev it in neutral... Guess the vibrations tickle their fancies xD.

 

Well this was always going to happen...nothing wrong with the sense of humor/humour here!..I get the same ('99 16k miles) don't recall these vibes on a demo ride back in 2000. Is there anything fuelling or ignition wise that would be the cause?
