    Hi.
I got -99 VFR800 and it got strainge problem for lower rpm:s..

When i start driving it works great. Doesn´t matter how much i drive.

But after it has been turned off over 30min it runs rough under 3500rpms. It´s like kangaroo and rpm`s jumps about 300-500 up and down.
But that problem go away if i run choke fully turned on about 1-2 minute. Then it started work again and i can run it as long as i want without problems.

If bike stand over night that doesn´t happend.

Where can i start searching problem?

Initial thoughts are that it could be the coils. When it sits after running, the coils can soak up a lot of heat and not operate properly until they cool a bit.

But it seems more likely to be the fuel pump or fuel filter. I think I'd check the output of the fuel pump first.

Zaumer are you getting any FI warning light action? Your symptoms almost sounds like when you are re-starting, the FI is missing an expected input and so stumbles badly, and then after you get the revs up with the starter valves it is moving on to a default "limp home" mode that ignores that input. I had that sort of thing when I forgot to reconnect the MAP sensor after some maintenance, but the FI light came on and the flashing codes made it easy to spot the problem.

No my FI light doesn't blink.
I think that i have to check fuel filter and coils..
And same rumw check duel pressures.

Only problem is that we have still 0 to -14 degrees so it's nor optimum driving weather :)

I already change plugs and measure leads.
