So I've been lurking around for a while, figured I'd fix that with a proper introduction. I picked up my 07 RWB last spring with 3,200 miles on the clock after searching around for what seemed like forever. I just happened to wander into a dealership while avoiding my in-laws, and there she was. My wife said that if I didn't just buy the damn thing, she'd never stop hearing about it. So, after some negotiation, I paid cash and had it delivered to my house (1.5 hours away) since I didn't even have a permit anymore. And for a "steal" in my opinion, lol.

But on to the good stuff. She came with a tinted touring screen, Two Bro's exhaust, and was almost in perfect condition. Just a few light scratches from being on a trailer, I think. Since then, I've put on Helibars, heated grips, HID's and about 5k miles. My job isn't very bike-friendly, so I only ride on weekends and evenings after work. After growing up on dirtbikes and riding a few friends' sportbikes, I just knew the VFR was the right balance for me. I'm about 5'7", maybe 140 on a wet day, so it took a little getting used to. But that V4 exhaust note....yup.

    Now pics...

Part of the "fleet" now...parking problems are hard to complain about.

Best ride so far - Chapin, SC to Shady Valley, TN and back in one day. Almost 700 miles round trip to the Snake, but an amazing experience.

I've learned a ton from reading through the forums, it helped me pull the trigger and I haven't regretted a moment since. Riding up to the mountains and around the lakes is the best escape I've found yet, always looking for an excuse to get back on two wheels. Great forum, glad to be a part of it!

Congratulations, you bought a nice ride, but I may be biased. Welcome.

Welcome to today's world. Don't know what you paid but that bike is all but brand new.

Thanks for the welcome! As for my wife, well....sometimes a guy just gets lucky! The dealership wanted $6,200 for it, but I negotiate for a living and was willing to walk away. Ended up paying $5k for the bike, plus taxes, tags, etc. From what I've seen around in the market, I think made out pretty well :)

I too am biased when it comes to the '07 RWB. You were lucky to find one with such low miles. Welcome to the forum - better late than never.
