And I had the reverse happen to me this week, I was asking on the Supersport Forum if it could be the igniters on my CB causing a slight miss, a bloke on the forum in Sydney 500 miles away jumped in and sent me a brand new and a second hand pair of igniters, cost him at least $150 for the new ones, said to try it out and see if it was the problem and we can work something out later. I was very impressed with his generosity, mostly good people use these forums I find

 

Lo & behold I get an actual CALL from this guy today! He takes my new address (moved last month) & swears he'll get them in the mail to me tomorrow. I ask him WTF took so long & he says "I'm sorry, I just never got around to it", which about causes me to choke. I wanted to reach thru the phone and slap him but I figured since he's made the effort to call I'll be civil.

I really pretty much given up on this. I was surprised to hear from him.

perhaps my pedo experience with a troll road experience is a bit like this one. I paid $3 to have my struts torn off my car only my receipts and constant bugging may get my car repaired by these trolls. I got the head troll cell phone number and got him into thinking to pay up. he turned out to be half way nice, I only asked for half the money. I know tomorrow if the head troll will actually pay up. but being a big pain in ass and not taking no for answer may end up getting me some dough. At first they Blamed another troll, but after looking into that it wasn't true-only following specs. I did prove my claim about 51% worth. sense he called-nothing to lose by seeing if he comes though-but don't let up-keep bugging till he comes though.:typing: I write in cryptic style sometimes.
