How long should a clutch last?

My 95 VFR has 38000 miles on it and has been well looked after and never been abused both by me and the previous owner.

The buzzing problems experienced since a major service have been identified by the dealer as a clutch slip problem.

Typically in the research I've done they last about 25K or less during normal riding conditions. I'd change them now.

They make all sorts of clutches use them in all my race motors work great. They are great for the street too most online retailers and dealers can get them for you.
