Heya! Current Vmax rider.

My cousin actually just bought a VFR within weeks of me mentioning it to him, and I plan to get one eventually.

Just figured I'd join since he's a member here now and I plan to get one sometime in the next couple years.

A bit about myself I suppose:

Currently I'm a Computer Science Junior at UMCP and I ride a 1985 Yamaha Vmax with a list a mile long in mods. I love the V4 sound, power, and culture and thought it might be a good idea to reach out to you guys.

Do any of you go to the Rolling Thunder event? Am I welcome here even though I don't ride a VFR currently? :worked_till_5am:

 

We need finger prints, iris scan and a DNA sample before we accept non VFR owners, unless they joined up with their VFR and sold out. We need the DNA sample from deep tissue. The heart works well. Just use a steak knife and skim off your right iris and send it regular mail. We will eventually get it. Maybe a little dried out but....

Who is your cousin? We may have to speak with him for not forcing the non VFR issue with you a little more.

All BS aside, welcome to the site. Riding on two wheels, and riding safe is the most important thing. Hell. Some here even have those really loud and expensive fart noise making thing-a-ma-jiggies.

You've got work to do on your bike. WTF are you doing here? Are you understanding what I meant by those felt bumpers. If need be, I can shoot you a photo. I use those little buggers for a lot of things.

By the way Randy, that paint job in your profile pic is awesome! That right iris should be arriving anytime now :torn:

 

Its a decal package. 3M so reflects light. I liked the mock up the sbop did bit flipped over it when it was actually done. Bike is on need of another new paint job again. Don't know if I will do the kit again cause it was a bit expensive. I'm on fixed income now.
