New VFR owner, quick introduction...

Hello all. I recently purchased my first VFR (3rd gen with approximately 45K miles). The bike is cosmetically challenged but runs well and the price was right. I'm in the process of doing maintenance such as cleaning carbs, checking valve clearances, replacing spark plugs and fuel filter, cleaning chain, etc. I've owned inline fours, V-twins, and parallel twins but never a V4. Love it so far. Just wanted to say 'hi' and thanks in advance for your help getting acquainted to my "new" VFR.

Hell. I took pix of my kids soon as they were born! Why the hell wouldn't you do the same with your bike? I mean, priorities man.

Look, around here with our collective IQ, pics are like porn. Even if the bike is torn down and in shambles, we still like to see them. You don't have to wait until she's 100% to post a pic. And if you're not going to post pics of the bike, then at least put up some pictures of scantily clad women.

Fucking kids these days. Gotta teach them everything.

 

Here she is. Finally put together. Still working out some carb bugs but it's running decent.

I have gone through the entire bike, its got 80,000 and runs as good as my other one with 18,000 miles. The 93 is smoother and seems to have a little more mid range but lacks the top end that the black one has.

 

Saweeeet. ...love the color. Bet those wheels would really pop if they were white.....anyways good lookin bike
