As my fiance calls it, the "Dirty Snowflake." Picked it up around the LA area. Here is what it looked like when I got it. This is in storage at work. 2006 with 7300 miles. :witless:

As it looks as of today, now you can see why "dirty." Things that have been installed so far:

OEM Top Rack and Bag New
OEM Side bags, Used (luckily he gave me the extra tumbler so all 3 bags are keyed the same!)
    Sargent Seat
Ram Phone Mount in the Center Head
    Stock Exhaust
OEM tank protectors from the ST1300
    BLS Lowering Footpegs

    Have but need to install:
    Blue Sea System USB charger
    VFRness
    BMC Air Filter
Black Reflective Tape For the Saddlebags
    Galfer Brake Lines

    Sold:
Two Brothers Exhaust it Came with, Holy crappers it was loud.
    Fender Eliminator

    Things to still buy:
    Helibars
    Heated Grips
Pair Mod, Snorkel Mod, Intake Mod, all the free stuff when I install the air filter.
Suspension, I need this bad. I just need to shell out the grand for the good stuff.
    ThrottleMeister

Hopefully not too much farkle on this thing. Usually not my style. Don't mind my '75 in the background

Thank you again SilverSurferRWB for the rear fender so I could finish the saddlebag mounting.

I'm glad the fender worked out for you. That's a good idea to wrap the black on the saddlebags! :thumb:

Nice. Four score and 7 years ago mine looked clean as that one. Do you really think you need the heated grips living in the Bay area? I know it can get a little blistery there but didn't think it was bad enough that simple riding gloves did not satisfy.

One of these days I would like to get the top case for mine.

Randy, I don't just ride in the bay area. I have been to the top of Pikes Peak with snow and negative temps with no heated grips. It was brutal. I vowed never to do that again. The coastline here is very rarely warm either. My stubs have been icicles way too many times!

Oh yea, and Randy, my bike will not stay clean for long. It will get some miles on it. The stagnation point on the lower part of the body work right behind the front wheel. That collects so much crap. Does someone have a guard for that to buy? Jeeze. It is worse than my CBR. Maybe I am just fat.

You can try throwing a couple coats of clear plastidip on there. When it gets worn or ugly, peal it off and do it again. Easy and cheap to do yourself.

The guy who makes Tailbrights, Larry Buck is making up a sample set of Tailbrights for the OEM VFR bags. I left him a set of my bags before I shipped out last time and I'm hoping he has them installed for me and has the template to make me another set for the other 07. You could check in with him and see if he is ready to sell some yet?

A friend of mine and I took snowflake down to the Salton Sea last weekend. First real trip with the bike. I can say now, it is a better motorcycle than I will ever be rider. With the PR4's this bike is solid. Twisties, rain, you name it. It takes it.

Nice find, man that thing is clean. Be careful, BMC filters are garbage, with no warranty. mine fell apart after about 2 or three years.

Ol' Snowflake is a sexy lil lass isn't she? Nice find, indeed. I'm really looking forward to getting my suspension done too.
