    Hello,

i just bought recently a vfr 750 from '91. It stood several years outside and now i am working on it to make it as new :)

But the fronk fork is corroded /damaged and now i found a complete front fork of a '95 model.

Does this fit? No problems with the frontwheel or calipers?

    Thanks !

There is a good possibility it will work but these are two different generations 3 Gen (Yours) and 4 Gen (95) so there may be some difference. Hopefully someone with more familiarity of these two generation bikes will chime in soon.

If time is crucial on knowing the answer, maybe try sending member Jamie Daugherty a PM with your question. He knows quite a bit about the VFR suspension.

Sorry for the delay...Go to the top of the page and click Notifications and then, Inbox. Then on the left, click Send New Message. In the center of the page there will be a place to put in the recipient(s), message title and then a section for the body of your message. Note that in the recipient field, as you type it will bring up a list of names that match what you have and then some. You should see his name pop up once you get his first name entered. I hope this helps.

    Cheers

Caliper/brake rotor spacing is the same between the solid mount and floating disks of the different gens?? I'd be surprised the fork lowers were identical, both are 41mm though.

The next gen 4 top steering triple is the same as the gen 3, I think you could always get on partszilla or another online sight and do your own cross referencing. I would'nt mind doing a front wheel swap with either a gen 4 bike or get a F4 front wheel like I have on one of my other bikes. That was a direct bolt on; used my axle, spacers and bolt. I just don't want to deal with an ebay or mail order deal with a salvage yard, back in the day, when there were bike junk yard, you could go and pick through them, thats when I got my hands on a nice front wheel for my other bike. It turned true and was not bent/rashed up.

Cheers and keep us posted, pictures would not hurt either.
