    Hi all,
I am new here and not currently a VFR owner but for the last four years I have had one living in my garage. My brother-in-law and i were on a trip and he crashed his 1986 VFR750F on the Blue Ridge Parkway. the bike has 29000 miles on it and was still running after he crashed it. i used to take it for a ride once a month to keep the fluids moving and the bike was stable at 70 MPH so i think everything is straight. all the front end plastics are gone, dent in the tank, clutch and brake levers need replacing, needs a battery along with other small repairs. it hasn't run in a couple of years but i am sure i could get it going again. I was wondering if anybody here could give me an idea of what a fair price would be for me to offer him so i could make this bike my own and get it back on the road. sure was a fun bike bike to ride when it was running and would be a great sidekick to my 1991 Suzuki GSX1100G.

    Thanks for your help,

Just wanted to add a couple of pics of the 86 VFR. the other side of the bike looks the same but the garage is a bit tight so couldn't get photos of that side.

IMHO, I would think a few hundred, 5-6 is fair considering all the work needed and missing plastic.

If that is the case it should be more of a bro deal. Maybe some beer and thankful that he found someone that wants it.

I agree. If the shoe was on the other foot that is what I would do.
