Was the only motorcycle out as usual, the 800 is a great cold weather bike with heated grips and ST windscreen. I t runs really hot even in cold weather like a built in heater went about 30 mileseach:
dats nice, I used to ride a pos and ran it with a piece of card board in front of the radiator, it was a CA bike which sucked beyond imagination, beyond your smelly murdering cats, and oil leaking dodge neon. ound:
Ride my 93 all winter if there is no snow/ice. Coldest ride has been single digits. Would love to have heated grips... imtrumpeter
Here in NY, I start riding in late March and can go all the way through early November. I stop after the first snowfall when the salt has hit the road. Often it is in the 20 degree range and the VFR will handle it no problem. Heated grips would be nice, but I just have 3 different types of gloves for the varying temperature ranges and that seems to work well. If I only rode the VFR is 70+ degree weather then my riding season would be very short.
