Hello VFR World! Just scored a deal on my first VFR, a beautiful 06 w/abs locally, only has 7500 miles on it! My father in law has a 91 that I've ridden around on from time to time, figured i should get my own. The thing looks brand new, couldn't believe it.

Anyway been doing some reading on here, I wanna do an exhaust and k&n air filter for starters. Looks like exhaust options are quite slim these days for these bikes?? Delkevic or two bothers?

Thinking i'll go with the delkevic slip on based on price and I like the look of it. Is delkevics site and ebay the only supplier of these systems?

    Thanks in advance!

GPR has a whole line. Deep Tone, Tri-Oval and the Furore You can probably still get scorpion and or Remus exhausts as well. Good luck in your search and while you are at it, look at the BMC filter.

    What Stewart said.
My 07 came with Two Bros and I like it, but it's the only thing that Iv'e had on it. I think that it's a higher pitch sound then some of the other exhaust (not as mellow). To each their own preference, I'll bet that they all sound great,,,,,,it's a V4 after all:wink:

Got a Delkovic full system on my 5th gen 2001. Sounds great with no baffle BUT just bought a full Motad Venom system from here in the UK (luckily live 30 miles from the factory). They gave me a tour of the factory as well. Very impressive, these guys having been making motorcycle exhausts for nearly 50 years and know what they are talking about. Their exhausts are dyno and exhaust gas flow tested on site and build quality is excellent. Delkovic ones are made in China, enough said. Dunno about availability your side of the pond though. Word of advice, spray the studs with penetrating oil over a period of a few days before you take it off, one of mine sheared off!! Yours should be OK being a 2006 and only 7500 miles on the clock but better safe than sorry.

Better add a Power Commander or facsimile if you are going with Delkovic and K & N. Reason I say this is I test rode a '07 where the seller had just slapped on a Delkovic. It was a really low mileage bike and the fueling was not smooth, in fact, it was rough. All it did was make noise. Just my opinion but I prefer these bikes with an understated but deep, throaty sound, a la Staintunes or 2 Bros.

Hey all sorry for the delay, family came first the last few days lol. Thanks for the replies and compliments! I checked out GPR looks pretty nice, I shot them an email. Wish I could see those on a bike and hear them. I haven't ruled two brothers out but it just seems to expensive for what your getting. For that price I'd almost rather put in an ohilns rear shock!!

Doesn't look like motad makes a slip on for my bike, just the headers. According to their 2014 catalog anyway.

Guess I'm going to have to keep hunting. Wish I could get ahold of a Leo Vince slip on!!!

I got Staintunes on both my VFR's. Nice sound look great. A little pricey but worth it. I'd also recommend a Rapidbike tunable module oner the Powercommander V.

Just found this site, anyone ordered from them before? The prices are much better on the two brothers systems that I've seen before. Wish that both cans were active, but dang it sounds good!!
