Cadbury64 seems to be leading the pack with 12. He will only admit to 11 but my highly skilled team of UFRRSSA man has the goods on him that proves he had dumped it 12 times. Once the bathroom is cleaned, I will let him out to look for more. Many are not far behind.

CB1...Forgot to remove chain that was wrapped and locked in rear wheel.
    Took off.
    fell over.
    pretty stupid..I'd say.
Guys helped me up and laughed at me.
    Oh Well,
    Just once.

Kawasaki Eliminator EL250 Ran into the back of a sod truck hit the step ladder...Thank the Lord I'm alive. But I think that is an accident...yup she laid down, and I rode away.

    Is that 2 or 1.5 or 1?

    Bill

Hotting the back of a fuggen big parked truck? Hell that's worth 3.5 alone. The first was a 1.5

Nah...not parked, but might as well should have been...I was going too fast on a canyon road was late for work and pretty pissed and had the mind to pass him...not a good combination...when he pulled the I'm going to make a left hand turn to an unpaved road that I didn't know existed with dim brake lights...yeah my fault all the way. I just hit the brakes...bounced off of the right rear post with my helmet and landed on my back in the dirt.

They pulled over and straightened out my fender. My Kiwi helmet saved me and my leather jacket and Jeans..two pairs of pants.
That was a tough lesson to learn, but I learned it and thank God, no stupid accidents like that again.

Went to a chiropractor, my knee was banged up, but for the most part was spared serious injury.
Oh yeah...I was a whipper snapper...so I bounced back pretty quick...all to the Grace of God.

    Bill

16 RD 350 uphill hairpin turn coming out of Carkeek. Sand and too much right lever.
17 RD 350 turned onto gravel road trying to avoid a mandatory monetary contribution to local law enforcement.
21 RD 350 residential area, Schnauzer ran out in front of me, too much front brake/steering. Should have ran over it.
22 Jumping Seca 550 up a small grass slope. Was preceded by several beers.

    Close calls requiring underwear changes:

22 RD 350 Tumwater Canyon, downpour, VW bus unexpectedly (no signal) turns left while passing it. Brakes lock up, bars crossed up. Slid within 50', let off the brake and steered around it. Came back, had words with driver.
35 RD 350 Bremerton "raceway", WMRRA school. Seized on strait, 120, sliding, pulled in clutch, coasted off track. Raced Seca, Sold Seca.
51, 700, have pulled out in front of two cars. Didn't see em, not sure why.

I believe that this covers drops rather than accidents?

    If so, then two:
    1) It was on side-stand, and when I put the top-box on, pushed it forward and off. Leverage sux when you are at the back trying to stop it going over...
    2) All packed and on the way to a camping weekend, stopped for a full up of petrol. When getting back on, right foot was a bit close and also on a little spill (from a earlier customer) so when I pushed up with the left leg, right being too close just slipped underneath and it went down onto the fuel bowser. Luckily I was between them so I stopped the full 350kg (loaded bike) from doing any more dings....

Rules are rather soft edged. But I gotcha for two. Lucky your bike did not pin you between it and that fuel island. That would have hurt.

my 600 - three. Once while practicing for the motorcycle license, once while turning around on an incline, and once hit the front brake too hard in gravel. That was '96. my 900 - never. Bike was down once on a hit & run. Only time that bike was on it's side. VFR - still never.

HOWEVER...I used to ride..but keep my distance from...Dave..a/k/a Dumpin' Dave. I swear that guy couldn't ride to save his life. Hot, humid midwest on the Mississippi nights, he's be out there in full leathers (no vents) helmet, thick gloves, the whole everything, when we were doing 20. talking 85 - 90 % humidity at 80 without the sun...easily. I think he went down about every other week. I think he's got Scubalong's record in just one year. Heck, he picked his Buell up from the shop, after getting it fixed from dumping it, rode about 20 - 30 miles, came back becasue something wasn't tight. Drove it to the back of the building, riding around front, dumped it. *just got it out of the shop!!!* he was behind me going into a parking lot. I was leading, he was second. right, 5 feet of straight, then left. well, he made it to the straight. Going 5 MPH...tops. He borrowed someone else's GSXR1000. Hit the owner of the bike, on his other bike, with his bike. now, how the F*** do you do that? Launched his bike too hard, wound up in a guard rail. One handle bar above, the other below. Got hooked on it. bent the bars, rode home like that. I think he even lost count of horizontal parking attempts.

Had a speed triple. for almost a month. totaled it.

yet somehow, his angel kept watch as he never got hurt...

Meager, if want your buddy to be around longer, RIP those keys out of his hands and have serious a talk before he kills himself. Maybe he should ride dirt and learn the basics and crash, fall over as much as he wants.
This guys a disaster waiting to happen. Let me guess early 20's?.....JMO of course....
