Are RC24 2nd Gen and RC36 3rd/4th Gen clutch casing interchangeable?

Please help, does anyone know if the clutch casing from a RC24 2nd Gen 1986-89 will fit onto a RC36 3rd/4th Gen 1990-97? If anyone has access to both models I am willing to pay for new gaskets if they would test fit a RC24 casing onto a RC36 or the other way around.

I have an 86 and a 91 and they appear to be the same piece. cmsnl.com shows them to be slightly different parts on their lists, the only difference being the RC24 oil fill is between the crank and clutch, while the RC36 fill is right at the back of the clutch housing. (Larger fairing on the RC36). I have the fill at the back of the cover on both bikes. The gasket is the same part number for both bikes.

Thanks for that info the casing that I have bought on Ebay in the states and had sent straight to Sebspeed to do one of his clear clutch cover mod' on has the filler in the middle which doesn't really matter to me.
