Hi all, am in the process of a few mods to my 5th gen VFR. So far mods in process of being done are: K and N filter, fork upgrade, Wilbers rear shock and other small bits and pieces. Next is a P Commander.need some advice on exactly which one i need and if possible some links to sellers in the States. As i live in the UK with its over the top prices ie price in dollars is the same in UK pounds! am going to buy your side so would be grateful for any pointers.

    Here is the racing version:

Here is the street version (California approved):

Both of these are the PCIII. The picture is of a 6th Gen, but the 6th uses a PCV.

No doubt. I ended up paying $265 a couple of years back for a PCV for my 6th Gen.

If you were to buy new, then the PCV is what they will sell you for a 6th Gen. Out of curiosity, where did you acquire your map? Did Dyno Jet provide a 6th Gen map for a PCIII?

I was using one of the maps off the dynojet site with no problems, but over on VFRD I found a thread where a guy called coyze had adapted a map especially for a PC111 and a 6th gen. I am currently running that map and am very pleased with it.
If you go on the dynojet site and put in (for example an 07 like mine) vfr 800 it offers you both a PCV with a vast array of accessories, or, a PC111 with just the O2 accessory. You pays you money and you takes your choice !!

I just got this off Dyno Jet's website. They did indeed have a PCIII for the earlier 6th Gens but have replaced that with the PCV. It is good to know that a PCIII is an option.
