I'm retuning to the ranks of the VFR faithful, buying a 2000 (YELLOW!!!) VFR800Fi this weekend.

    I've owned two VFR's in the past; a 1992 and a 2001 > http://home.ix.netcom.com/~tinkler/VFR.html

    I sold my 2001 in 2010 (what was I thinking :confusion:) when I bought my ST1300 > http://www.photosbytink.com/ST1300/

Well, I've come to my senses and I'm going back to the future as a VFR owner.

Congratulations. The yellow is beautiful. Those always catch my eye. I will be curious about the deal and the bike's condition.

Awesome. I had a brand new 5th Gen back in 1999 and absolutely loved that bike. My friend now owns it. Congratulations and welcome back.

Welcome back to the WORLD of biking that IS the VFR. We all knew you'd come to your senses, it was only a matter of time. LOL

Now you'll own the fastest color VFR. :)

Not that I know what that's like. :(

Thank you everyone. I'm excited to "go home" to my VFR roots. The VFR (1992) was my first "sport bike", and I've missed the V4 thrust ever since I sold my 2001 back in 2010.

    Well done!

Glad you are back with us again. I would love to hear a little about how things went with the ST over the last four years as I'm sure a few other are as well. Oh and of course we need to see some images of the new steed and hear your plans for it. :snowman:

    Saweet indeed!

That's the same high and tight pipe I have, Staintune high mount. Remove that restrictor and let the V4 music out.

When I bought my Ducati, I put the VFR up for sale. It was fall, bad time to sell a bike around here. I got no offers. My wife talked me out of selling the VFR. She saved me from selling a "keeper"!

    Congratulations on your purchase tink.
