Move over DN-01, we have company! Please take a bow Honda design and engineering team, you have outdone yourself once again. :hangme:

"“Honda is a big company. We make every kind of motorcycle. It’s great that sometimes we make a certain machine simply because we can and because we want to, not because we 'should'." "The NM4 Vultus exists because of a passion from deep within our company. We wanted to create something special, not just in the two-wheeled world, but truly unique in the whole world - a machine that engages a human soul like no other." "Our intention was to make something that makes every moment feel cinematic, and we want riding it to be an event – guaranteed – every single time.” Mr Keita Mikura, NM4 Vultus Project Leader, Honda Motor Company"

Last time I was at the local Honda dealer one of the sales girls was bragging that she got to see one of those. She was all excited about just seeing one....I tried to act cordial while she told me about it. Yuck....that's gotta be the ugliest bike in the world....that saying a lot! Must be the same design team that came up with the Element SUV plastic thing.

Oh ya...if you go to the Honda Powersports website and click on the NM4 it takes you to page that is completely different that the pages for all the other bikes. It has it's own separate style webpage just for it. Obvious they are proud of that thing.

Ugh, another bike with that nc700 plant. Lowest revving motorcycle engine in existance. Well maybe not, but it's boring beyond belief.

It looks better than the DN-01, mind if Honda was determined to make a recumbent motorcycle they should have licensed Kanedas, at least it'd make Akira fans happy.

Judging from their Website Blurb you'd guess typical VFR riders aren't their target audience:

" The NM4’s LED user-friendly display with your choice of 25 background colors is designed to speak to you. " :vanity:

I really wish I could feel excitement for this bike Honda released, but I just feel nothing except disappointment. Even watching videos of it from various people on YouTube they seem to have the same opinion.

Might be good to make a Judge Dredd or Batman style bike from though.

Someday, they will be making whole fairings that will change color much like those instrument panels on that scooter

That 700 cc vertical twin from Honda is not all that exciting for sure but I bet it will run forever.

The design of the scooter is not all that original. This from a way back:

That is very unfortunate. Honda has made some very cool machines. My 07 S2000 car was one. Then the element? VFR and many other bikes as well. Then there is this? I don't get it.

That is truly hideous. I expect nothing less from Honda at this point.

In countries where scooters and scooter customization are hugely popular, I'm sure they will be a hit.....one of those countries isn't the USA.
