Looking for the post/studs that are screwed into the seat so that I can mount the seat cowl. I have the OEM seat cowl screws but my seat does not have the female studs that should be mounted on the seat that the cowl screws screw into.

Looking at the schematics on Bike Bandit/Cheap Cylce Parts it is not even listed as a part just shows the whole seat.

Is this for the 86? assuming that it is...I had to pop holes in the seat cover to get to the holes.... turn your seat upside down... it "should have the "bolt holes " on the underside....

Thanks Crustyrider. Yeah the holes are there know that. There is a captive nut welded to the seat bracket, but there is a piece that is a standoff that screws into that bracket from the outside of the seat and has a female thread on the outside. So it is male on one side with a female on the other so the cowl screw can screw into it. Sounds confusing but it is part of the seat and is not available by itself. I have the oem seat cowl screws but they are to short to work.

I need the same part. It seems my seat was recovered and these chrome mounts were removed. See pic below.
Does anyone have any idea where to get these?
