fairing cowl center stays

I'm looking for a pair of center fairing stays for a 87 vfr700. They hold attach the mid/lower fairng. These were honda part 64515-ML7-700. The original part has been discontinued.

Anybody found alternative replacements for these ?

I need one of these. This request was never responded to. What are the alternatives if this part is not available? Jury rig something?

 

It has been answered in other threads. You'll probably have to have some fabricated for you. From what I understand, there were two styles of these one of which was pretty much a rod that threaded into the frame on one end and was made to receive a bolt on the other to hold the fairing in place. These should be easy to replicate.

 

The left side part holds the clutch line, which I have, but the right side part only holds the fairing. As I now see was said elsewhere people removed them because they caused the corner of the fairing to break off. I will just find a nut to fit on the chrome screw for the cowl and the heck with it. Thank you for the input.

The number is right but the pic does not look like the correct part.
