At this point the bike is running pretty well. A few minor things to fix, but nothing critical. I have put a couple of hundred miles on her this past month and just rolled past 20K on the odometer this week.

I synchronized the carburetors which helped quite a bit, then sort of rebuilt the petcock. The interior gasket had worn down and the one I ordered hoping it would fit was way to small. I flipped the gasket over and moved the worn area next to the metal post instead of at the holes. I also removed the modification the shop made to have it work as a manual only petcock and restored the vacuum operation with a few new parts. At this point gas flows when it should and doesn't it should not. I replaced the coolant again which was gross, but not nearly as bad as before.

She still has a little roughness at highway speeds. Valve adjustments will be my next project, hopefully that will help. The more I work on her, the more disappointed I am in the shop that I had do some work earlier. I expected them to do a better job than I would be able to which does not seem to be the case. I suspect I will be happier doing everything myself from now on.

Always better if you have the knowledge to do it yourself. Nobody cares more than you!
