    I'm more interested in the naked photo story. Could you contact the officer since he's at his desk and have him forward those to vfrw? We really can't evaluate whether it was worth it without careful examination of all the evidence.

    Wasn't the CHP able to get a license plate or two? Or assume these guys don't bother with plates considering the highway antics.

    Ahh yes to be young, dumb and full of ... and have a fast sport bike too. I sure it makes for a great story telling later. I feel sorry for the next sport bike rider that cop stops.

    I recall one media outlet reporting the cops are using social media to help ID these idiots. Apparently some of them may have posted the video & are bragging about it. Hopefully the cops due their dillegence & can catch them.

    Most time these guys have their plates on the inner fender and/or just above the tire bent in a way so it is nearly impossible to read them unless you stick your head up their :ass:

    Antics like that drive me insane. I see that out here in NY on the highways as well and it gives us all a bad name. Somebody in a car does not know the difference between a VFR and true sport bike. We and them are the same as far as the general population is concerned.

    Not a clue aboot the CHP bikes but their cars look like they were crossed with a porcupine with all the antennae.

    Along with any citations issued, copped to or guilty by reason of payment for reckless driving, will jack up insurance rates and subsequently reflect on the issuance of new "plates" and renewal of drivers licenses.

    Buyers leverage when these dudes have to sell their bikes.

    The CHP Officer I think was female. Riding away from the dude may have been a smart move. Instead of focusing on one stunter, she (??) may have been collecting more plate numbers. Not all of the stunters were popping wheelies. Lots of speeding too IMO..

    CHP Motor Officers also are qualified and trained to drive CHP vehicles.
