Sweet 750 Turbo for sale on Ebay

 

Wow....those are great looking bikes. It's definitely on my 'someday' list. That's the bike that got me looking for something different than my KZ1000, and that's when I found my '84 VF700. These bikes must have looked like something from another planet back in the 80's.

 

You got my attention.

 

I took one for a spin many many years ago. I didn't like the turbo lag... but once she spooled up you best have some open road in front of you!!

 

Got bumped today from $3000 to $5200. 5 days left.

Any guesses to how much it'll go for?

 

Wasn't Jay "Pee Wee" Gleason the first guy to get into the 10 second club (1/4 mile) on a production motorcycle riding a GPZ 750 Turbo?



I'll go with $7500 ish as final selling price.

 

Back to $3,000.....maybe the $5,200 bid was bad?

Another one to watch.

Weird, I've never seen a bid disappear. The guy that bid, (p***s) bid twice- $4000 and $5200.

 

I really like the 900 Ninja, if it was close to me I would for sure go see it. This quote by the seller worries me....

The middle fairing does have some rippling as the previous owner started the bike one winter in the late 90's with the bike cover on and forgot about it. I have a replacement middle fairing which in good shape other than a small scuff on the right side which will need fixing.

That means it got how hot? It ran with the cover on it? How long? Minutes, hours?

 

Turbos are to bikes what steroids are to athletes.

 

Wow....I didn't think it would get that high but its at $7,100 right now with exactly 5 hrs to go!



The 1984 Ninja 900 went for $4,050

Seems like just a few years ago both of these bikes were selling for just a couple grand. Should have got one a few years ago!

Cool, I hope the new owner actually rides it. I fear that too many unique bike end up in collections but they only collect dust!

 

That is a bit more than I would have guessed but not by much.
