what are used 2010 VFRs going for?

this seems like an awefully good deal but I may be wrong since I haven't been following the 1200s too closely until recently. it's a 2010 manual version with only 1500 miles. $7500. maybe worth trading in the old 07...

Yep, thats a steal. Even moreso for that area. I just bought mine on Tuesday bone stock for $7000. That can is damned expensive, I can't tell what kind of levers those are though. Either way, I would jump on it if I were you.

 

Yes it is a great deal. Just make sure the tittle is clean as well.
They usually go for closer to $10.000

The dealer discounts on leftover new ones is pushing down used prices. It's a really good time to be a buyer. I suspect used prices will go up once all the leftovers are gone.

 

I recently bought my 2010 for $10K
Although mine had more had more options and I got a 2 year Honda Mfg warranty.
1500 miles? ... on a 4 year old bike!
Sounds too good to be true ...

Seems there was a issue with the 2010s. The engines maybe.
I think there was a thread on this site about it. May want to read up on that.

 

Yes there was, but not engine... It was a fuelling issue in the first and second gear. That can be fixed and there are 2 options for it.
Option 1
$60 Bazazz instalation it takes five minutes and the gear indicator don't show first and second gear but the fueling is way better.

Option 2
Is ECU reset which fixes all the issues (and you can make many more changes and improvements) for $370.

That may be it , but there was a few on here that were ranting ( rightfully so )about how the repairs were not fixing the problems that ony applied to the 2010.

 

The other positive is it already has a DAM exhaust. That is approximately $800 exhaust and the best sounding. Trust me I have one :congratulatory:

 

Thanks all for the info. Its 2 and 1/2 hours away and I just spent the whole day today up on my roof tearing up a 20 ft section of shingles. Moss lifted an entire section of my roof shingles up and the rain last night found its way into the house. I definitely won't be looking at bikes from a time stand point this weekend and probably not from a $$$ stand point for a while. Hearing about the fueling issues makes me feel a little less bad about not getting to check out the bike.

On deals that you have to jump on right away which lot of times means next day could be way late.
That's exactly how I got my last bike. After it was listed I was there with cash same day offering him the asking price no negotiation because I knew it's priced way lover than it should be.

Two days later as my bike was parked outside the store I have another guy offering me $1500 more than I paid for less then 48 hours ago.

I didn't want to sell it yet... I'm happy with two bikes for right now.

Lucky its gone because there was a engine failure topic on this bike in the past,it has resurfaced. 2010 models.
