Gee what a difference a 1/2 more Heel makes-I can almost flat foot the bike now. People who don't drop their vfr don't ride it or have perfectly flat roads=Fact.:nelson::lever::gun3::boink::funky::drum::ear::boom::shower:

Well, I have ridden mine on gravel, dirt, concrete and asphalt. Luckily I have not dropped a bike since my first one though. If the VFR is truly that tall for you, you may have gotten a bike to big for you.

Also, you do realize that you only need one foot down to steady a bike, right?

We don't know what SOW paid for those boots. They may be thrift store specials or from one of those "blow it oot the door" internet sales oofits near the Castro District in Sanfran. If the dude needs both feet to be planted to keep from falling over again and again, though not as fancy or gay looking, my suggestion would be a pair of second hand roller blades. Added inches and training wheels all rolled into one package.

Do ya think SOW is too shiftless maybe? The rollerblades would offer another advantage. SOW could skate into town and find one of those shemale harleydoods to help him pick up his bike when he drops it again.

I have rollor skates, don't use them, BB needs roller skates to go fast when people come after him after he rips them off at the bridge, I am not that short like some people and no one foot isn't enough on hilly roads with bad potholes-they got a new cheap way to pave-only do small strips down road, how stupid is that to use less tar. I am the King of the VFR's now nobody can ride better than me except Randy-115,000.:smiley_simmons::joker::pisser::happy::stickhorse::clap2::senor::roll:

Huh... someone better tell this guy:
    http://blog.motorcycle.com/2012/10/...-amputee-keeps-his-racing-dreams-alive-video/

As for crappy quality of roads, I live in Dayton, OH. Famous across the nation for its poor roads and perpetual construction zones. Don't blame your environment for the lack of your skill. That is not an insult, but friendly tip. You can't improve your technique if you think it is beyond your control.

Put a couple thousand miles on your bike between drops before boasting about your skill. Hubris without experience is worthless. I still think you got the wrong bike. You need something smaller and lighter while still learning how to ride properly.

Seriously, lay off the excessive emoticons. It makes people think you have Downs Syndrome.

Riding down the hwy is not really riding, riding back roads is. Sitting on a bike mile after mile isn't me-I use a car for that and I like these symbols too, and I am still the best rider around on a vfr-. The bike is Top heavy. I heard about a bad accident-Harley rider locked up rear wheel and then hit a car. Glad I have abs even if it weighs ten pounds. I am winterizing my car. :grey::chaingun:

I never said anything about highways. Even so, highway riding is still riding. Of course sitting on a bike isn't you, you keep dropping it. Go a year without dropping it then you can mention your skill, but still not brag.

The VFR800 is not top heavy. One of the most influential paradigms was low center of gravity and mass centralization.

Didn't ask if you knew of any accidents of any sorts. Don't care if you heard about a Harley locking up the rear wheel nor does anyone care if you are winterizing your bike.

I think you need to join a different forum. Basic concepts seem to escape you. I would recommend http://www.psychforums.com/mental-retardation/ They may be able to help you better than the members on this forum.

You could use your skates as outriggers, no need for your sliders.

SOW maybe spent all his welfare pesos on those gay boots and can't afford a pair of even used rollerblades that by acclimation are not only useful but lifesaving. If someone here could start up a collection for even one rollerblade I will arrange the funds transfer by the Fantucci Bros, Vito and Tony. All SOW has to do is tell us where he lives. We will need the address and not that awful place where all those shemales hang out.

There was a kid in my high school who bought a BSA 441 Victor, a rather tall bike then. He would ride up to a stop sign and jump off the bike, hold it, jump back on and ride on. That's how he handled his tall bike. Being able to 'flat foot' a bike is over-rated ... just sayin' ...

I am happy to have all this extremely useful info, it might be my old boots just suk anyway and getting better ones help a lot. Every day I get better riding my VFR-I stopped riding for years, so it took me a while to get back into riding again. So thanks again for the help. The was too big for me-it isn't any more.

We need "F-SOW." t-shits, whoops, I mean, t-shirts  I will believe der-sow is a real person when he/she/it posts pictures of the turbo neon with some cats on the hood, or boot, or bonnet. You get the jist, I am gona light up a "fag" wait, I have not smoked in over twenty years, just being a ball buster. Anyway, I have some Prexport boots that have not disintegrated and they don't have a heel, they are interesting to ride in, and are very warm so they don't get much action here in South FL, they are water proof though. I swear by my Bates Fast Lane boots, have two pairs of them, first pair is still going and are 21 years old.

Anyway, the late Joey Ramone :rip: had a built up shoe on one of his feet, may der-sow is a re-incarnated Joey? Was at St. Marks Place in NYC a few months ago and swore I saw a gimpy mc rider with a cat in a basket. He may have been a Chinese take away delivery person though :loco:

It could be suggested that SOWs boots have round heels.
