I cannot fix this gas flow issue. When I drained the tank into my waste gas container, the bottom of container looked like copper. Much rust, you have young skywalker.

so, I will get fuel system cleaned out.

sadness. Still worth it though, I love the bike.

No don't try... do clean it. A radiator shop might be able to fix it for you.

dlman, your interceptor is awesome. Very clean. I want to replace my plastics to look just like yours.

    nice bike.

R&S Honda already told me they cannot kreem the tank????

I will wind up getting tank cleaned elsewhere, but I want them to take care of filter to carbs. If I take that mush apart, I might not get it right putting it together.

The underlying issue is I need it for transportation now, quickly. I work 2 jobs so spending "hopefully" a little extra is okay.

Take what mush apart? The carbs? Those are easy if you take the carbs apart as one unit still attached to the top piece. But the filter is under the fuel pump and it maybe worth the time to take it out and use a filter in a different place that is more easy to get to.

I agree the filter is in a rough place to access. Again the deal is time to work on it.

I need another rig to drive while it is down.

Right now, I don't have that. If I did, I would do this myself no problem.

Have you tried flushing the tank yourself. You maybe surprised at the junk you can get out that way. That could hold you over until you get it into the shop. Your bike is sweet too. I like the colors they work.

I drained it, did not flush

The plan is to either take it to radiator shop or I hear the yamaha shop in town (also owned by R&S???) will kreem it

That paint on my rig is a 20 footer. I need new side pieces due to a broken prong on each. I might spray it myself later in the summer.

There was a carb fire. It melted a lot of intake sh1t. I am filing for eBay vehicle protection. Honda wont touch it. rebuild carbs, replace intake plastic, and pray that no dirt got into the heads.

I will see how eBay fraud protection works now.
