    Are they supposed to be lit up when not signaling. My 3rd gen was.

    Mine light up. Check the signal relays. Found under front cowl. Could also be signal diodes or simply a bad ground.

    Not much help if the used to light up and stopped, but check that the correct dual filament bulbs are in there.

    mine are single filment. only two wires and no frame
    these use a simple reyal and drop resistor circuit.

    It was just the wrong bulbs. Everything lights up correctly now. Have 7443 light bulbs in btw
