So, anyway, most Ive done is an indicated 140 mph, 98 aniversary edition vfr 800, isle of man TT course, mountain mile.......every single day

 

my little r6 could do 160, but I only went maybe 110 once-the wind is extremely pow full

Hahaha, I wish, the only time I match their speeds is at Ramsey hairpin, slowest corner on the course, and even then I bet theyre quicker than me

 

According to some of the dudes that post here, they are just as fast as the fast guys. ( they wish)

A question or two: What is the posted speed limit on the course out of the more populated areas? Are the cops lax there on days other than race days?

Trust me, ANYONE who says theyre just as quick are full of shit, the slowest guys racing in the TT are way faster than any of the armchair posters on here.

Once you`re away from a designated spped limit there are no speed restrictions, that doesn`t mean you won`t get pulled by the cops for riding like a proper bellend though! The cops here are brilliant though when the TT is on, theyre not out to spoil anyones fun, they even join in, just click on the you tube clip below for an example

We have American police in the form or CHP (California Highway Patrol) at one of our major racetracks (Laguna Seca) Not as theatric but many are sportriders and they do have a good time.
