Before going and buying them online such as TNRabbit suggests (though it Is a very good suggestion IMO) you may first want to check with your local dealer. For parts orders to qualify for free shipping there always seems to be a minimum order cost. If you are only ordering the two rubber tank cushions, you may find it cheaper in the long run to order from the dealer, as opposed to paying less for the part but having to add the cost of shipping. Though I can't say for certain in regards to US dealers, any time I have ordered a part from the dealer, there is never an additional cost for shipping charges when purchasing from the dealer, even if they have to order the part in for you.

Might be be worth looking in to. If however, you are thinking of ordering a few other bits, well.........................

A inch of clear plastic tubing (tygon) works just as well.

Less confusion on what you are looking for if the specific bike was included in the OP.

A dealer might have a microfiche of the assembly dealing with older VFRs that will show the part#.

One of the members here (Squirrel Dude) probably has the part# memorized..

    I hope it's still available.

The rubber trim for my 86 vfr700 is no longer sold from Honda and there's no aftermarket. Nothing overseas either. I'm screwed on that part.

I actually did find this part for my bike. David Silver Spares US had a few in stock. You should get the part number and check their website.

I looked through tons of universal rubber trim, but none fit the unique shape of the factory part.
