Turned 60 and retired, twice, last year. Doing that "what do I still really want to do" checklist and realized my wish list has had a VFR on it for a long time. So I'm shopping. I would prefer used simply because I love to work on my machines and new Hondas don't need the "caretaker" TLC I enjoy. The competition among dealers is good here in Middle Tennessee, offering a new 2006 wo/ABS for under $9K or a 2007 w/ABS for $10K. Several within reasonable distance also have used VFRs. So later this week it's off to the dealers and of course, I'm looking online as well. No rush so I can be particular (that's a Southern idiom for you Yankee boys/girls). Enough talk. Ride well, ride long, and cherish the time that you can. Later,
