I have had a Joe Rocket Manta XL tank bag for years and I have been very happy with it. It doesn't work as well on the new ride. It's "wings" just sit on the plastics. I worry that in the wrong conditions they will damage them. What tank bag do you ride with?

I have an axio bag that came with the magnetic 3 magnetic wings. 2 on the sides and 1 near the seat. it also came with a buckle near the triple tree and long velcro straps. i use the buckle and fold my magnetic wings under to stay off of the plastic.
I have had these since 07 and they hold up awesome. the tail bag zipper is starting to go but when you use them for 7 years consistantly thats a good product. Slightly expensive back then but worth it.

Here is my cbr with them on.

I have the Axio bag, too- bought for a '98 VFR. I've picked up one of the Honda ones, but haven't gotten around to trying it out yet- some concern about it blocking the instrument view, considering how tall the gas tank surface is! :shame:

Givi tank bag with givi mount ring. I use the same tank bag for both my 2013 VFR 1200 and the 2014 FJR 1300ES. Just needed different mount rings for the two bikes. Highest quality bag and easiest on-off of any tank bag I have owned.

Go with a tanklock system from Givi, Kappa, or Cortech.

I have got a baglux tank cover with a baglux tank bag. It looks great, fits on in seconds and the tank cover protects the tank as well and theres straps to wear the bag as a rucksack. Being non magnetic you do not have the weight of any magnets to carry around with you after you remove the bag from the tank

They come in a range of colours and you can get the stitching customised (I think)

My tank cover lives on the bike all year around.

    Good luck with the search
