    16m is a good amount...think ya got your $ worth..thank god thats all it was. Talk to a certified Honda mechanic that was trained and he has checked two dozen VFRs without having to do anything to the valves. Told me to save my money and just keep a good ear on your motor and no red lining the puppy.

    By the way, what kind of tires were you running?

    I put a new Q2 on the front Saturday. I was concerned because I can't really tell, definitively, when the fronts are worn out but I was having a bit of cupping so I figured it was time. Plus I intend on putting some miles on her and good rubber is a must have. It feels really good and steers a bit quicker.

    Nice to hear that you found the problem. 16,000 miles on tires is waaaay longer than I would have run them. Could have been a real mess, but glad that nothing untoward happened.
