Hello from the Canadian Rockies!

Hi Everyone,

New VFR owner here, with an 83 750 Interceptor I picked up last month. My Brother rode a CBR 954rr for years, so Hondas run in the family. I was looking for an older bike for weekend cruising and tinkering, and got a steal of a deal on mine. It's got 50,000 kms, but runs strong and tight for its age and mileage.

Found this place while looking up first gen 750 issues, and it was pretty clear it's the place to go for info on interceptors. Looking forward to prying all of that knowledge and experience out of your collective craniums!

Welcome Marty. We like to see pictured posted with your introduction. You never know eh? Posers try joining up here and they don't have a VFR. I guess we can consider your avatar as proof.. Radium Hot Springs.....anywhere near Winnipeg? JK. Been there a few years back.

If you are ever riding out this way and going through the Wack, give me a heads up. I am a quick mile from the freeway.

 

Here's a couple of pics when I picked it up, and then one all tidied up. A day of cleaning later and it's looking 100% better already. Working on repairing the brittle plastics next.

Welcome to the WORLD. I have spent many a summer stopping at the Hot Springs in Radium. I remember stopping at Radium Hot Springs on the way home from The Kootenay's one year. A friend and I were visiting my grandmother in Creston and we stopped at the Hot Springs as we ventured home to Calgary. Note to self: NEVER stop and spend time soaking up the heat in the hot springs and then try to ride home on your motorcycle. When riding a motorcycle it is good to feel relaxed, BUT NOT to be TOO relaxed. Ahhhh to be young and stupid again. LOL
