    My old suzuki (mikuni), you turn out the sync screw to increase idle. The v4 carbs are the opposite, turn in the screw to increase idle. Further if you one screw backed all the way out, you get too much vaccuum on the other cylinder and can suck mercury out of the gauge into the engine. Yep, definately learning as I go.

    Had this man-made mercury get sucked into a plenum once, I cursed a bit I recall :frusty: the tool was a :bs: Motion pro = :thumbsdown:

    Got a proper tool now that does not have to be calibrated before every use
