I have a 1994 Honda VFR 750 and just replaced the Battery, Stator, and voltage regulator. The bike still needs jumped, cause the battery just gets drained after I jump it and run the bike. I bring it home and the lights just go dim and will not start??? Am I missing something or do i need something to get my bike running again? This is my first bike and it was running great till all this happened.

Check your connectors to & from R/R. Corrosion can limit amount of current, but still show voltage. Do you have a meter? Check voltage at battery when running, should be aprox 14+ volts.

    Easy method for cleaning contacts:

use small emery board (finger nails), peel off course sandpaper on one side and trim to fit in connectors
