So I just bought my first VF Honda bike, an 84 VF750F interceptor and have a few questions. First, I would like some lower clip on bars(no rise), what bars are compatible with the 750f since I know no one is going have a specific aftermarket application for my bike. Also, can anyone tell me which manufacturers made exhaust for this bike back in the day and what they look like? I have a contact in Japan from buying car parts and I am gong to have him hunt for an exhaust since I figure there will be lots more there but I don't know which make/model I want him to look for.

    Any advice would be great!

    Thanks.

Cams are good, bike runs perfectly and has been well maintained in the past. Just looking to clean up its appearance and make it a little bit more modern. I already have a Air-Tech lower fairings, tail fairing and removed mirrors/signals. I also wanted to ask about VF1000R dual headlights. Will they just drop into the 750 fairing? I am assuming I will have to make some brackets and stuff but dimensionally are they the same?

Did you buy the headlights with the intent of swapping them into the 750 fairing and then would up having to swap the whole fairing itself too?

*EDIT* I read through your post some more and got a better idea of what you needed to do, thanks for the link!*

Anyone with advice on the bars? How about a fork swap to a newer style such as a CBR600F2? I found wheel conversions to move to the CBR600's wider rear wheel so I am definitely going to be doing that and since my front forks need rebuild I was thinking rather than rebuilding the stock forks and buying a wheel conversion i could just swap the whole fork set up. I more or less just want to know if kneck/bearing and triple trees are the same, I can fabricate everything else I will need.

    Thanks.
