    Thanks! The Interceptor is an 84 that is completely stock with the exception of dual rate springs up forward and a Works shock in the back. She has about 16,000 miles, runs great and so far the cams seem to be in good shape.

    Sweet little collection there...84 red like yours was my first street bike in 84...always loved the SL350...Had a SL100 when I was a kid...rode..crashed...rode some more and that little 100 never broke....

    Thanks! Started out with a QA50 then moved on to an SL70 (great bike) then an XL125, a Yamaha TT500, XR500, XR600, then the Interceptor that I bought new in 84. The SL350 I have only had for a year, but it is a bike that I always wanted. Had all the sales brochures taped to my wall as a kid. The 350 was beautifully restored and runs like a champ. It's great for around town cruising and running errands. It's amazing how many people recognize and appreciate the 43 year old SL.

    I bet you heard a ton of stories when guys my age see's it a they get that look in their eyes and have a huge smile...it probably always starts with...I remember when...........i do remember a neighbors dad had one in blue stripped down for dirt with straight pipes..oh my lord I would give my left testicle to hear that sound again.My age who needs em anyways right? Oh ya my wife has them in her purse
