Will this exhaust work for my 08 VFR 800

Hi I really like the look of the AkrapovicSlip-On Line (Titanium)S-K10SO13-ZT

Does anyone know if this will work on my 08 VFR 800 ?

Seems like all I see these days are the delkevics and Two Bros.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I had to guess I'd say they adapted pipes from another application.

Hindle makes a mid-pipe for Gen 6 VFR's. Just add your mufflers of choice. Link: Hindle Stainless Steel Slip on Adapter. VFR listing is towards the top of page 3.

Something like that would give you a lot more exhaust choices. As I said just add mufflers of your choice. Many companies seem to be producing generic mufflers these days. You can always hack up your factory system & try to adapt some mufflers. Keep in mind with a custom set up tuning/ fueling changes may be a necessity.

I wonder if this would connect directly to the two brothers fake can?

 

As long as outlet size on the mid pipe matches the inlet size on the can. If fake can is identical to the functional muffler, why wouldn't it work.

I was thinking about relative alignment fore/aft and left/right.

 

You would think its designed so the cans would be close to the factory locations. So the muffler hangers could be attached to the factory location. Google searches for images of one installed on a Gen 6 have turned up nothing.
