    What is it called, what does it do, how do I bypass it please help
    I broke it cant plastic weld it cus it keeps snapping and can't
    find it

    Looks like the vacuum-actuated valve of the PAIR system, the fresh air injection into the exhaust. You could just block off the vacuum lines coming from the manifold (so you don't have an intake leak) and it would run just fine without the valve.

    Ok I've changed out my carbs for a uk model and removed all the paired system but I'm still having problems
    Ticks over perfect crank the throttle and it dies n cuts out then fires
    Have had my original carbs and my spare set of uk versions but it's exactly the same
    Help
    Terns out my vfr is a Californian import go figure

    That sounds like clogged pilot circuit to me. Are you running with the choke on?
