ABS light flashing

Every now and then my ABS light flashes when I set off instead of going off. Any ideas?

 

Year and model -at least in your profile- would get you answers quickly, no one here is a mind reader.
You mentioned ABS, so I'm guessing is an 02 and newer. Have you done any modifications lately? Have you checked for loose grounds, wires, connections etc?
Mine started doing the same thing. After checking many possible culprits, I decided to call the dealer to find out if the recalls had been performed, turns out my bike had two to be performed. The main wiring harness was defective and all my troubles went away since.

 

That was one of the symptoms that was being displayed when I was riding between Winnipeg and Regina 2 months or so ago. I spent 4 days in Regina waiting for a new stator to arrive I think from Calgary. But I am sure that is not the only reason the ABS light may flash. At least I hope not for your sake. Let us know what you learn of someone here does not come up with an answer for you.

Just looked at my service manual and there are 37 pages on the ABS System and trouble shooting. Unit produces error codes to indicate problem. Check the obvious stuff first, if it continues or remains flashing, suggest getting professional help, very complicated. I do not have ABS and have no experience, but this system is highly computerized.

 

My 06 have the ABS light blinking non stop. No one knows what is actually wrong and I just left it blinking. Even my abs is fully functioning. So I guess it's just a loose connection somewhere.

Check the ABS sensor and the ring for damaged.
