Well hell, I was really looking forward to the Puig Double bubble for looks and better wind protection. Unfortunately, it just doesn't fit and it's off by a lot. Measuring the difference of width between the Honda and Puig the Puig is anywhere from a 1/2" to over 3/4" narrower than the Honda at the tabs and screw holes. Obviously the Honda fits great and there just isn't any possibility that the Puig can be flexed enough to fit. I double checked and the Puig is the right number for my 2003 VFR. Has anybody else had to deal with one of these that is sized that much differently than the factory screen ? Thanks and happy cruising, Bill

That's unfortunate. I had issues with my zero gravity DB screen, poor fit but I was able to make it work (after breaking one of the tabs lol). I was actually considering replacing it with a Puig but probably not after hearing this. My brother has a puig on his FZ6 though and it fits and looks great.

They will go on without breaking anything. Gentle force is used. Piig and Zero Gravity both fit the same. I have had a couple each.

I just put a PUIG on my 2004 VFR. I had to play around with it but finally got it on. I'm 5'7" tall and for me it works great.

Had the same issue with a Puig db on 02 954rr, had to use a little extra pressure to get it in place. Looked great installed though.

    Too Far Off To Install

I can appreciate that sometimes the windscreens can use a bit of "monkeying" to get them installed but this one is just too far off. The bottom tabs, where the screen really is too rigid to flex more than a hair, measures almost 3/4" narrower than the Honda windscreen. That's just way too far off to be able to jockey it in without busting stuff. I bought it from Riders Warehouse and they were very gracious as far as taking it back. I just haven't made up my mind to give a Puig another try or go with another brand.

You just did what I was going to suggest. Its nice when you have a good experience with a vendor when returning a product. Most the time, that is the case. It is not beyond belief that a product could come out defective and maybe this is the case with yours. If it is a PUIG that you originally wanted, I would try them again. Don't give up on them for what may have been a one off problem
