Just purchased a 2004 Honda VFR in asphalt black with 15,000 miles for $3,500 and im in love. Would like to know where is the best source or how to guide for dummies on setting up a power commander for the vfr? Thank you

That is the greatest color on a VFR I've ever seen. *My comments might be biased though.
I'm of no help with the power commander, just wanted to say hi.

Congratulation on your new ride :thumb:
Best to shop around on fleebay and on the forum. Get a PCV and auto tune. Candyred probably will chimp in for better suggestion
I would suggest to ride her and get to know her then mod her to your taste
    Ride safe and ATGATT please

Oh--- the first thing I did was get a Stebel horn..the stock one is a tad on the wimpy side.

Go to powercommander.com, you find everything thing you need to know there, plus maps and software to program. Units are programmed via USB, but need external power, so you either program it on the bike (use a laptop) or use temp power ( I have photo of 9 volt battery connections). It will make a big difference below 3500 rpm on a stock bike.

Thanks for the replies. The tires are Metzeler Z8s with lots of life left. I was thinking of reflashing ECU seems easier and cheaper than PCV and auto tune.
