Looking for pictures of a red bike with the silver pieces painted black. Anyone done this? Google does not come up with anything.
Would be interested to see that also, but I'm starting from a black 2013, and will selectively do some parts red- probably just the tank and fairing panel, maybe the front fender, too. I like the combination of red, silver, and black, which I first saw on one of the 2008 CBR1000rr variations.
I am thinking of that also. Glossy as the tank or semimatt as the plastics? How about painting all red? So everything (fairings and mirrors) that is now silver painted in red? Have you found any pictures yet?

"Tin-Tin" had the silver parts painted black but he must have deleted the picture because I can't find it. It might be nice with the tail section and the silver part which has the VFR1200 label painted in black. Please post a picture if you do that to see how it looks.
