Hey All, I have owned my 1999 VFR for enough time to know I love it (seven plus years) but decided I knead ( I love to play with spelling) to get advice form other owners. RedBike
Hi and welcome to the MadHouse:welcome: As you will quickly find the folks on here really like photos or they just won't believe the bike exists! (To upload pictures just click reply and then click the "Insert Image" icon and follow the prompts as they appear). If you need help with the bike, or are looking at modifications then just head over to the 5th Gen part of the forum and you will find plenty of help and advice. You may also want to update your forum profile - "My Profile" link at the very top of the page to include the specs of your bike and a rough location - city/state is fine, that way the information will appear alongside your posts and if you need help with a problem you just might find someone nearby willing to swing by and offer advice especially if you have a well stocked beer fridge. Take care SkiMad
Welcome to tbe rubber room. We have recently renovated this room with memory foam walls. An assortment of straight jackets in wool or tweed is available to choose from. But seriously. If you post pix, we will stop doubting your claim of ownership.
:welcome: to the zoo lad  Glad to have you and good to know you  your VFR As mention above.............You not official owner untill PROOF of ownership
Hi Mark641 Its always good to welcome another British VFR owner to the MadHouse:welcome: I guess as you have asked for help uploading a picture - then you may get 5 minutes grace before someone posts the usual "worthless without pictures" message. So here are the basics. If you want to include a photo direct into a post all you need to do is "click reply" then run along the line of icons until you find the one called "Insert Image". Click that icon and follow the prompts as they appear to select a file from your computer (the interface can be a bit slow) If you want to see you current profile then its visible using the "My profile" link which is right at the top of the page. If you want to "Edit" your profile then a couple of lines below you should see "Forum Actions" - when your mouse is over that link it will offer the "Edit Profile" choice which you need to click. This then allows you to customise a whole heap of things on your profile - so if you want a picture of your VFR as your forum "Avatar" then just head down the "forum settings" list and select "Edit Avatar" to select and install a suitable Avatar sized picture (which means not too big!). Take care SkiMad
