I was looking for a bike to help out with my gas expenditure and wanted something fairly inexpensive. I found this VFR on Craigslist a couple weeks ago. It has 26,000 miles and is mechanically clean, runs smooth, very well balanced and has nice power. Seems to have been well cared for and maintained. Seems to be a great balance of sport and touring Have been averaging 48-50 miles per gallon. Definitely a gem

Welcome to the WORLD!!!! As you have likely figured out VFR's are the worlds greatest motorcycle and that most here are a little fanatical (aka crazy, but in a good way) about our machines. Now that you own one, you may be hooked and feel a little spoiled to any other kind of bike.

Don't forget to post up some photos of your new ride so that we may ALL revel in the sight of your new found machine. Pictures are worth a thousand words and all, and if we don't see a photo we just might believe you to be an..................Imposter. LOL

Hope you enjoy the bike as much as WE all know you WILL. Have fun, ride safe and don't forget to keep her shiny side up.

Welcome aboard! Nice bike! You even have that little side stand fairing still attached, thats unusual as they tend to get broken. Rear blinkers don't look stock, you can integrate them into the rear tail light and it cleans up the rear end nice.

I got two of these bike, and don't see that kind of mileage, I get usually 32mpg or so. I ride fast though and that sucks petrol. Cheers and enjoy that bike, its super special and excellently designed.

Welcome to the life and world. You will love your ride for a really long time for sure. Looks like you were in the middle of a blizzard when you tool that second photo.

That mileage you are getting is incredible. I have never really checked my mileage cause for the most part, I personally don't care. But I know I don't get anywhere near what you are getting. But much like ridervfr, I tend to like the sound of mine and sorta "turn up the volume" if you get my drift.

Stick around for a while. BTW. Sweet acquisition!
